Monica Saragih in DJKN

A NoTes...
I am a newcomer in Ministry of Finance since November 2010.
Until i wrote this notes i am still an apprentice in DJKN (one of directorate in ministry of finance).
Before, i has worked at private company and being a civil servants is totally a new experience for me.
As you all know, private company is profit-oriented (money-oriented).
It's always about how to achieve maximum benefit or profit with a minimum cost.
While working in government, the working-culture is to serve the public and to give the people's welfare
(service and social oriented). It's not about to gain more profit.
This make a difference between private employees and civil servants.
I think civil servants have a bigger responsibility than private employees.
Civil servants responsible to the whole public of state while private empolyees only responsible to their company.
Yeas, there's a rumour and also facts about negative point of view of civil servants.
Civil servants is ''ill judged" (underestimate)
Therefore, there's a contrary between government's role to serve people and indisciplinary government workers.
Despite the rumours and negative facts, i, as a government workers now, try to give "something" or contribution that will be remind ; )
Don't ever give up, whoever or whereever you are... Keep positive and keep uP
